In 2022, the experience won many local awards including Best Specialty Shop Immersive by Connecticut Magazine!

As Creative Director, Grymm Studios facilitated all design, programming, marketing, actor training, events, video attributes, audio soundscapes, design & fabrication, as well as being the main performer and writer. We parted ways in spring of 2023 as the owner wanted to take things in a different direction. Please enjoy the various images and videos that give a peek inside this unique experience!In 2020, Grymm Studios approached the owner of  the Curioporium, a basic antique & and curiosity store that was set to close due to the pandemic, to present them  with not only a way to keep their doors open, but to create a unique and safe experience like none other in New England.

Over the following 9 months, the store was completely transformed! One of the premiere productions that Grymm Studios created was "The Vault Experience"!

An immersive theatrical, paranormal experience complete with custom built interactive set pieces, custom sound, lighting, & projection, and a crafted storyline. The experience would take 6 guests through a 90 minute paranormal/comedy adventure where they become part of the story! Led by whimsical characters and a rich storyline, guests were completely amazed by their experience! And because it was all improv driven, no two shows were the same! 

The show ran for over a year with nearly every experience sold out! The experience evolved to also being a store with unique merchandise and artwork, specialty led mini tours led by an array of creepy characters, and even a gaming experience, and trivia nights! The space could even be rented for special events! Truly a unique escape like none other!
