"The G.R.Y.M.M. Method" has been used for over 15 years to teach long-form character and story improvisation to many actors, whether professional or novice. This method not only allows for creating a character from scratch, but also as a confidence building method for every day life!
This method was created exclusively to better help and understand autistic masking, and to do so in a safer and less exhausting way, however, it is also useful for neuro-typical actors and performers.
Unlike Method Acting, The G.R.Y.M.M. Method allows for performers to naturally interact and carry on conversations with guests for hours, while still being able to come out of character whenever they are needed. This is designed with specific, yet flexible, guidelines that allow for natural character building based on familiarity of a 3 character alignment system. This allows for the performer to be in control of any given situation and interaction, with the flow and ease of quick witted comedy and structured story line.
