Do you have a knack for being funny and quick witted?
Can you be in character for hours at a time? Are you good at improvisational acting, world building, and dark comedy? Is sarcasm a second language for you? Do you live in or near Connecticut? Are you reliable? Can you be on your feet for several hours? And I must repeat, CAN YOU BE FUNNY?! Then we may have an opportunity for YOU with Grymm Studios! We are expanding our acting troupe to prepare for our upcoming immersive, theatrical experiences and events that are happening in 2025 and beyond! These are paid, non SAG gigs. |
The type of actors we are seeking aren't necessarily method actors and don't need to be professional actors, but do need a specific outgoing personality. I have a specific method that I teach everyone who joins the team, that I have been teaching and using for many years. The G.R.Y.M.M. Method!
This may be a perfect type of gig for those who enjoy performing at LARP, Ren Faire, Cosplay, Improv, or haunted attractions. I'm also seeking performers to wear bigger costumes for non speaking roles.
These events are typically one night on a Friday or Saturday, and are throughout the year. The goal is to find enough actors to fill in for several different period themes and characters. Owning your own costumes is a plus, but not necessary!
